The Triple Air Sensor monitors the level of air pollution in your kitchen, so the hood will automatically turn on or off when necessary. Plus, the SmartThings app will alert you when it’s time to clean the hood’s filters to ensure they’re always functioning at their best. With a 630-cubic-feet-per-minute (CFM) venting power and four fan speeds to choose from, smoke and odours are easily whisked away, leaving you with a fresh cooking environment.

Ensure a more comfortable cooking environment. The powerful ventilation system gets rid of heat, steam, fumes and odors. You can adjust the power across 4 settings, up to an amazing 630 CFM suction capacity*. If the air quality is poor, its Smart Mode will also automatically adjust the power.

Less noise, more enjoyable cooking
Low Noise
The frictionless and brushless BLDC motor reduces noise by up to 40%* using strong magnets instead of brushes. It also has a distributed coil winding that generates minimal noise when working at low speed.
* Based on internal testing. It generates a noise level of approx. 6 Sone in Boost mode, which is 40% quieter than a Samsung NK36K7000WS model, which generates approx. 10 Sone in Boost mode. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.

Capture airborne oil and dust more effectively with a durable Stainless Steel Filter. An Easy Off Handle allows you to remove the filter conveniently while an Easy Clean coating makes removing grease and oil effortless. It is dishwasher safe. The SmartThings App* will alert you when it needs cleaning**.

Smart mode
Smart mode* adjusts the hood’s ventilation power to suit the air pollution level. If the air quality is poor it works in High mode to refresh the air rapidly. When it improves it reduces its speed.

Smart Ventilation mode* monitors the air pollution 24 hours a day using data from the Triple Air Sensor. The LCD display indicates the air quality, if it is poor the hood will automatically start to work in Low mode and then turns off when the pollution level reduces.
* Smart Ventilation mode can only be used by connecting the hood to the SmartThings app, which is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. If the hood is turned off automatically after operating for 1 hour, it can only be turned on again after at least 4 hours. Smart Ventilation mode will be turned off automatically after it has been in operation for 1 hour.
* Smart mode will be turned off automatically after it has been in operation for 2 hours.
