This Contest is conducted by the Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) exclusively at its Brick Store located at 1381 Regent Street, Unit Y009, Fredericton, New Brunswick, E3C 1A2 (the “Store”) for New Brunswick residents only.
This Contest commences at 10:00 a.m. UTC on July 23, 2020 and closes at 8:00 p.m. UTC on August 23, 2020 (the “Contest Period”).
To be eligible to enter, you must be at least the age of majority in the province in which you reside. You are not eligible if, during the Contest Period, you are an employee or partner of The Brick or a member of the immediate family (defined as mother, father, brother, sisters, sons, daughters and husband or wife, regardless of where they reside) or household of any of the above persons, their respective affiliates, agents, licensors, associates, representatives and advertising agencies. If an individual meets the aforementioned requirements then they will be considered an “Eligible Entrant” for the purposes of this Contest. All decisions regarding eligibility to enter this Contest will be determined by The Brick in its sole discretion. This Contest is void where prohibited by law.
No purchase is necessary to enter this Contest. Eligible Entrants must attend the Store during the Contest Period and submit an entry form (“Entry” or “Entry Form”) for each Prize they are interested in winning by completing a ballot with the information requested thereon and putting it into the ballot box marked at the Store for that purpose. The Store will have eight (8) separate ballot boxes marked with the corresponding Prize for the nine (9) Prizes (Note: there are 2 identical Vacation Packages and that ballot box is combined).
There is a limit of one Entry, per Prize, per person. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in the disqualification of the Entry. Entries will only be accepted as stated above. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. No Entries will be accepted by any other means.
Nine (9) Prizes are available to be won and will be drawn on August 24, 2020 (“Draw Date”) at 1:00 p.m. UTC (“Draw Time”). The chances of winning a Prize will depend on the number of Entries deposited into each ballot box during the Contest Period in accordance with these Official Rules. Your chances of winning decrease as the number of Entry Forms in each ballot box increase.

*The Brick’s liability for defective merchandise shall be limited to repairing defective or, where appropriate, to exchanging such defective goods within the manufacturer’s warranty period and in accordance with such warranties. In no case shall The Brick refund or otherwise compensate the winning participants beyond repairing or exchanging defective goods.
The Brick will arrange for delivery of the Prize to the Winner living within 100 km of the Brick store. Should the Prize winner live outside of the specified delivery area, the delivery of the prize will need to be worked out between the Winner and The Brick.
On the Draw Date and at the Draw Time, the Store Manager or a Store representative will make a random draw from each ballot box to obtain one (1) Winner (“Eligible Winner”) for each Prize. For Prize #7 & #8, the Store Manager will make two random draws to obtain two (2) Winners (also referred to as “Eligible Winner”).
The Store Manager or designate will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winners by phone or email using the information from the Entry Form. If the Eligible Winner cannot be contacted within three (3) business days of the Draw Date (“Contact Date”), or should the Eligible Winner be unwilling, unable or ineligible to win the Prize as set out in these Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited and The Brick shall have the right to draw an additional Entry (“Alternate Winner”) from the corresponding ballot box. The Alternate Winner will be contacted by phone or email.
Each Eligible Winner whose entry form has been selected on the Draw Date must:
(i) within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre-arranged time and place; and
(ii) execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize.
Should any Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the Alternate Winner.
By accepting a Prize the Winner agrees to The Brick’s use of their names, city, province or territory of residence and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.
By entering the Contest, Eligible Entrant(s) agree to The Brick’s use of their personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest and in accordance with The Brick’s Privacy Policy.
The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and market to You. We may communicate with You for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers You have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein. The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the contest rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed necessary for business efficacy.
The Brick’s records of the winner selection process or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this contest.
