A message regarding COVID-19

Dear valued Brick customers,

We are pleased to announce we have opened our stores across Canada.

We want to thank you, our valued customers, and our Team members, for staying apart, together, to protect the health and safety of our community. We remain committed to making it safe and efficient for Canadians to get essential household appliances and products that they need.

As our doors open across the country, we are pleased to start welcoming you back in-store with several measures taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. We will continue to serve our customers online at thebrick.com or via our live chat feature on thebrick.com. For those who would like to visit a retail location, please check out our updated store hours, based on market, here. We also continue to serve customers through our in-home appliance repair service, ensuring the appliances needed to work and live at home comfortably and safely are operating when you need them.

Further details on our building protocols are included below:

Signage and Distancing: We have implemented or installed a number of measures to ensure a safe shopping experience in all of our building locations, such as physical distancing floor decals, workspace distancing practices in-store, and Plexi-glass customer service dividers to allow a safe interaction between staff and customers. We have also added various signage throughout our stores to inform staff and customers of our adjusted policies.

Capacity and Screening: We are doing our part to encourage physical distancing and adhere to provincial regulations by reducing store capacity. Updated maximum capacities can be found on signs on the front door of our store buildings.

Cleaning Protocol: Sanitizing stations can be found throughout our stores, to ensure all staff and customers are properly sanitized and safe before interacting with product. These stations include hand sanitizer as well as sanitizing wipes. Daily store checklists have also been placed throughout the store to ensure each area is being properly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

Fleet Services: Our delivery and transport services remain committed to safety measures so that our customers can continue to receive product and repairs at home. Our stores are conducting pre-screening calls and ask our customers not to be in the same room as our Team members when carrying out deliveries or service calls. Additionally, we have equipped our delivery and service teams with safety equipment such hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes. Our trucks also receive a daily interior wipe-down and our Team members conduct weekly comprehensive cleaning protocols. Wearing a mask is now required for any in home delivery. We remain optimistic and confident that if we all stay committed to social distancing and safe health practices, recovery will continue and we will move forward. The Brick provides Canadians with products and services that make their homes a place for families to live their daily lives together. We recognize the hard work from our Team members across the country and are grateful for their commitment to serving our customers while ensuring the safety of our community.
